In a Nutshell: Premier Summits is a free event, and that is what you will be promoting. There is speaker a day and people can listen to the speaker anytime during that day. The event lasts 20-30 days (depending on the number of participants) and usually spans one or two topics.
A quick rundown of our top ten (lead generating) affiliates recently showed these results.
- We paid on average $2.48 in commissions for each lead generated.
- 4.6% of the leads generated were converted to sales.
- With our original landing page, these affiliates had a 33% click to lead ratio. The top affiliate had a 42% click to lead ratio.
Important note: Since these stats, we have run several A/B test and our current landing page is has a click to lead ratio of 47%.- Commissions per click on the above affiliates was about 63¢ per click, but with the higher click to lead conversion ratio, we expect a much higher rate on the Weight Loss Summit.
People will sign up to listen to one or two speakers but find that there are several others that may interest them. We have found that because the recordings are high quality and are on the same topic, many people will purchase the MP3 download or CDs.

PROMOTIONAL THOUGHTS …
The start date of the summit will be announced sometime in January.
All you have to do is let your subscribers know about the event. Here’s what we recommend (we have example emails to send out as each of the dates come up):
MAIL#1 - Send out a solo email to your followers two weeks prior to the event.
MAIL#2 - Send out a solo email to your followers 5 days prior to the event
MAIL#3 – Send out a solo email on the event starting date telling them the event is starting today.

We have found that a very short email announcing the even works better than sending all the information. The goal is to get them to the site to sign up, not to sell them in the email.
